How It All Began…
PCS was born in 1995, and we’ve been on a remarkable journey ever since. Now managing 1200 active accounts we excel in our field. Our customers are hugely important to us, and we would like to take the opportunity to thank you all, we hope that you’ll continue to be part of this amazing journey with us.
We began our journey back in the 90s providing IT maintenance and support services to local people. It’s safe to say that we were pretty retro but, our humble beginnings have taken us to where we are today.
We have take off! Our website was launched and by having a digital presence online we’ve been able to target customers with diverse needs from all over the world.
Surely a round of applause is in order? This was the triumphant year that we reached the £1.5 million turnover milestone, all that grafting paid off.
And then there were 10. Our employees are the heart of the business, and we wouldn’t be here without them. So naturally, our team expanded to 10 employees allowing us to broaden our IT expertise.
Ten years on, our story is far from over. Staff numbers, turnover and passion increases and as technology evolves… so do we! Oh yeah… and we reached £10 Million turnover. No biggie.
We grew at such a rapid rate that we needed to re-locate to a unit in Kettering. It’s rather snazzy, 3 times bigger than our original office space, so we have room for more growth! That’s not bad considering we’re only half-way through our story.
This was the year that our sales guys had the chance to cruise around in one of our nifty company cars.
We retained our ally status with Microsoft in 2009 and gained Microsoft Gold Partnership by meeting certification and sales requirements. Put plainly, this means that our customers have vouched for us, allowing us to show our high level of competence and expertise with Microsoft technologies.
‘And the CRN Sales and Marketing award for the Best Company to Work For goes to’… Us of course! But seriously, we pride ourselves on our work ethic and as corny as it sounds, we’re one big family and awards like this mean a lot to us.
We celebrated 20 years of business in style at the Marriot Hotel in Northampton. From three to eighty employees, we can confidently say that our success is down to our hardworking team and efficient services. Here’s to another 20 years!
We proudly gained the government backed Cyber Essentials certificate, meaning that no nasty cyber crooks can attack.
Our new website was launched bringing a fresh new look to PCS. Like technology – we’re constantly sprouting out new ideas and as a result we decided to re-brand.
Fast-forward to today, we now take care of 500 service customers globally. We’ve evolved in every way since the beginning of our journey but one thing that won’t change is our commitment to our customers, our staff and to making profit. We continue to grow financially, currently hitting a £24 million turnover, increasing in staff numbers and diversifying our offerings. The rest is history!
